Online Safeguarding Training Course

Safeguarding is all our responsibility and it is important that Tower Captains and Training officers keep up to date with their safeguarding training. It is also good practice and recommended that all bell ringers complete Basic Awareness training. Refresher training should be completed at least every 3 years.
The training required for bell ringers must be Parish led but in general, recommendation from CofE is:
C of E Basic and Foundation Safeguarding training is available as an e-learning package and can be completed on line using this link: https://safeguardingtraining.cofeportal.org/
It is straightforward, users need to create an account, log in and can then complete the courses, a certificate is provided at the end. During registration you will be asked to enter some personal information such as your name, the diocese and parish you belong to and your role within your church community.
