David retired in December 2012 as Western Branch Central Committee Rep. This marks the end of 50+ years as a member of the committee at either Branch or Association level.
He was a elected as a member of the Association in 1947;
A Central Council of Church Bell Ringers Representative 1957 - 1974;
Association General Secretary from 1962 - 1973;
Western Branch Chairman 1975 - 1979 & 1995;
Association Master 1986 - 1992
Elected a Freeman 1992;
A Vice President 1993 - 1998 & 2010 to date.
He was also the Bells Advisor for the Diocesan Advisory Committee and is still, I believe, their consultant on church clocks.
