St James Church, Bishampton, Worcestershire are holding a Bell Ringing Festival the first weekend in November 2017. This is to commemorate 80 years since the bells were returned and rehung in the bell tower. We still have in the village five families whose relations were bell ringers 80 years ago.
We propose to have slots throughout the weekend for visiting teams to book and come along and ring the bells. We would also like to hear from anyone who is interested in hand bell ringing. Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend, and there will also be a craft fayre taking place in the church.
If you would like to know more about this weekend, or book your team in to ring at our celebration, please contact our church warden, Victoria Poole her email is firstname.lastname@example.org, 01386 462234, 07511025609
