Notes

There is some parking space in the road but if this is insufficient park in the playing fields car park 200 metres further down Lea Lane (away from the village) or 200 metres in the opposite direction, in the centre of the village. There is also a car park here behind the buildings. Cross the main street into Auscliffe Road, car park is on the left. The entrance to the ringing room gallery is via the steps on the outside of the north face of the tower.

The church is a short walk from the canal. There are pubs in the centre of the village (The Bulls Head and The Eagle & Spur) both serving food on most days. There is also a Chip Shop opening for lunch and evenings (closed Sunday and Monday morning), a cafe (The Farmers Den) was open more frequently but currently open Tuesday to Friday mornings, and a Tandoori takeaway open evenings.

If you have children to amuse while you are visiting there is a children's play area on the playing fields (behind the club house and bowling green). Walking along the canal towpath to Wolverley will take only 20 - 30 minutes. Kinver is the opposite direction along the canal, but its church is at the top of a steep hill.
